Reception

Crossgates Veterinary Clinic  is fortunate to have wonderful caring people greeting clients and pets. Our receptionist staff are outstanding people.  Shana Malone takes the lead as our head receptionist.  Shana has been working on the Crossgates Veterinary Clinic pet care team for the past 5 years.  She knows how important your pet is to you as she is the proud mom of a beautiful rambunctious boxer, named Maci.  Dena Wolbrecht  is the newest member of our pet health care team.  Dena is learning the importance of great customer service and veterinary care. She has a darling little girl, and a gorgeous chow named Smokey.  She is also a member of the Mississippi Humane Society.  We are so excited to have her as an integral part of our veterinary team. Ashley Aldridge, Donna Thomas, and Dawn Hall complete our receptionist staff at Crossgates Veterinary Clinic.  All three are animal lovers and work hard to help us meet your pet care needs in a timely manner.

About Us

Jim and Gail met in1971 as pre-veterinary students at Mississippi State University. They were married in 1973. After completing their pre-vet studies they entered Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine together in 1974. Upon graduation in 1978 they returned to Mississippi and established Crossgates Veterinary Clinic. The practice has seen many changes over the past 33 years. Initially, the Anderson's had a general practice with patient species ranging from dogs, cats, goats, pigs, horses, and cattle. As time has gone by and the location of the practice has changed from rural to urban they are now exclusively a small animal practice.
