Dr. Gail was born in Biloxi, Ms. She has lived in Brandon her entire life. She graduated from Brandon High School and attended Mississippi State University and then Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine before returning to Brandon.
She has been active in many community activities in Brandon and Rankin County. She was a charter member of the Rankin County Junior Auxiliary, a member of the Brandon Garden Club, the American Cancer Society, and is currently a member of United Methodist Church, where she is a member of the choir and handbells group.
Gail has also been a member of the Greater Jackson Veterinary Association, the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is a past member of the American Veterinary Medical Association Council of Accreditation. She is currently serving on the Mississippi Board of Veterinary Medicine. Gail has many hobbies including traveling with Jim, teaching Tai Chi, playing bridge, walking and running half marathons, reading murder mysteries, playing with her menagerie of pets and spending time with her three children and adorable grandchildren.
